Frank Romanoski graduated from Willow River High School in 1948. He served in the US Army for two years during the Korean War.

Frank worked on road construction as an Equipment Operator, from 1952 until 1968, when he joined the Carlton County Highway Department, retiring as a Supervisor in 1992.

He was raised as a Master Mason in Solomon's Lodge, #286, in 1994, and has twice served as it's Worshipful Master.

Since 1986, Frank has also belonged to the Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies of Duluth and to Aad Shrine in Hermantown.
