Grand Lodge of Minnesota KidsID Program

An online equipment reservation system is being developed, as is a request form that members of our communities can use to ask for a KidsID event. More information about these initiatives will be announced here in coming weeks.

Lodge members: Materials can be printed locally if your supplies run low, or if you are coordinating your own event. In addition to the two forms here you will need a quantity of diskettes, one per child, a Sony® Mavica digital camera that supports 3.5" diskettes, a banner appropriate to your venue and any promotional material you choose to distribute. The Grand Lodge office can help you determine the right types of additional materials, and the Grand Lodge PR Committee can assist with a banner. Please track the number of children you serve and advise the Grand Lodge upon completion of your event.

The KidsID Data Sheet and Flyer, below, are the two documents you will provide for each child processed through the Grand Lodge's KidsID program. The first is the two-sided document where volunteers will begin marking vital statistics, a process that parents complete in the privacy of their own home. Note that we generally fill out first name only, height, weight, and provide a dated digital photo. Parents are to be encouraged to fill out the rest of the information at home, and store the disk and info sheet in a safe place. The second document is an informational flyer that parents can use to talk with their children about safety.

Remind parents that KidsID kits ought to be renewed at least once per year, as children grow and change.

These documents are provided for use by Minnesota Masonic lodges to support KidsID services.
